I hate corner time.  It’s not something that happens a lot, but I really hate it.  I’ve always been bad at sitting still, standing still, being still.  I’m a born fidgeter, so time-outs as a kid drove me absolutely insane.  I think I just have such an active mind that my body has a hard time stopping while my mind is going.

This picture is a very interesting take on it for me.  Usually you see a nice pert ass sticking out at you while the sub’s face is in the corner.  I think this is worse.  I would go absolutely crazy being told: “Stand in the corner.  No, face outward, but don’t look at me.  Turn your head and don’t look at anything.  If I catch you, it’s just going to get worse.”

Sir generally uses corner time as punishment because of the same reason. I get bored pretty easily and I always need to do something with my body. I can’t sit still for more than ten seconds.

I think being made to do this is worse, because my instinct whenever I’m told to sit still is to just LOOK AT STUFF.

…one of these days, I’ll stop giving Sir ideas.
