Our scenes this weekend played out like something from a domestic tableau of ages past: I would be cooking and whoop hand in hair, face to the ground. That’s honestly one of the best things about living with Daddy. I never expect it coming and, yet, I always respond to it with the will of an automaton. Turned on. Like a light switch.

Oh hai! Glad you’re back too! It’s been going quite well! It’s had its challenging moments, as to be expected, but you can’t compare the brilliant moments to anything on earth. It’s been so beautiful. And I’ve been here for three months, I think. Still trying to learn German, but I’ve made great progress!
